It is not fair but often it seems like life, and the world are not fair. We often see bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people.

We miss the people lost but the way we honor them is to live our lives day by day. Remember them and live our lives in a way that would make them proud.

Grief is like a scar, it lessens with time. Never completely disappearing, nor should it because it reminds us of how much we cared about those who were close to us.

I know you and Abi were close, I’ve never been through anything even remotely like what you had to go through. The only advice I can give you is to treasure the memories you have but still manage to live on. Like Janus looking back, remembering the past, but also looking toward your future.

She was my cousin too

but the times i did i remember them well.

Well she was. i think everyone knows that.
Me and abi grew really close when her grandad ken died (My uncle) I remember her saying “Is grandad going to heaven…Is their lots of flowers in heaven” of which we answered “Loads” to. she was the only one that didnt cry. Eee she was a proper rock.

There best be loads of flowers. otherwise she will be abit dissapointed.

We’re making vague noises about “doing something” next week or weekend (the we in question being Drew and myself, and Carl may be implicated). I’ll let you know as plans progress (the idea being that they can’t possibly regress—although they may digress, and we may never egress after all).

Be sure to pop back to the School of Computing every now and again after you graduate. You will be missed.
