And so, the end is near
Here we have it - the end of term, or as it is also known “a time with no lectures but normal workload”.
The last four days have been rough, with two courseworks and an essay due in last night. Going to bed after 3am really does nothing for my sleeping habits. However, they are now all in and I have nothing to worry about… or maybe I do. Juggling three courseworks at the same time has meant that none of them have been to a particularly high standard, which I think will end up being reflected in the marks I get. Oh well, who needs a job(!)
On which note, I feel I should update you all on my job-getting progress. There is none. Nadda. Zip. I’m no closer to having a job than I was six months ago. Nor am I any closer to sorting out plans for postgraduate studies.
Maybe I should just join the elite of my home town and go on job-seekers’. It seems to work so well for them(!)
Easter will be a mixed period - whilst it will be nice to go home for a bit, I’m not planning on doing that until the second week, so I can actually catch up on some project work over the next few days and organise my room, my notes and my life! After that, tis home I go for a fortnight, which means that i’ll probably use every excuse to avoid doing work that I can find. This is what babysitting and dvd collections were designed for! After the Easter weekend it’s back to Leeds, back to work and back to the same old routine. I was hoping to either have friends over to visit, or to go and visit them, but at this pointit looks highly doubtful that this will actually happen!!
One good thing about this week is that my project is doing really well. My supervisor and assessor were both happy with my project, even though I accidentally made the program skip over one of the stages. Whoopsie. Given the stress I felt over the last couple of weeks about how little I seemed to be getting done, this has really reassured me and in all fairness probably allowed the other courseworks to go a little bit smoother… even if they were still evil!! EEEEVIL!!! Hopefully next week I can get the code wrapped up, and the report well under way.
Not that any of you care about any of this, but you can’t delete it so ner ner!!!
