…and I felt the Muse within me to write something. (That’s funny! Laugh, dammit!)

And here we are! 2007! As I look out over the sea of revision before me… I thought I would do something far more fun and here it is!

As everyone else seems to be doing some new years’ resolutions, I thought I should get in on the act, so here they are:

- eat healthily, try and get up so I at least have something for breakfast!
- do something about the mound of fat where my stomach once resided
- not bottle things up when they’re bothering me, lest I explode
- to look on things which have passed with healthy reflection rather than morbid apprehension
- torment my family and friends to my fullest potential
- not be afraid to say what I feel or take a chance at something that could potentially be fun and exciting… get your minds out of the gutter, all of you!
- 1024×768, cos I can’t do widescreen on here (thanks to Phil for inspiring that one!)
- be more pro-active in matters concerning my future. Graduation is just around the corner after all!

January is never a good month for me, for many reasons, but this year I think I’m doing okay. I’ve come back to Leeds early as I wasn’t getting any work done at home, and managed to get a couple of hours of solid revision done today. It’s also nice to see some of my friends again, though most won’t be back until well into the exam period.

I’m not doing as much work as I should be doing, perhaps, but far more than I would have got done at home. Tomorrow I am honour-bound to do more of the same, though this is dependent on going to bed at a sensible hour tonight. Going to bed at 3am on New Year’s morning has done wonders for an already devastated body clock, and I must get back into a proper habit, especially if I intend to make my 9:30am exams!

Not really a long post this one, but a fun one to write nevertheless. I wish all of you deluded souls who read this expecting some excitement a Happy New Year and all the very best!
